Wednesday 10th March - After elevenses at Coolings on Rushmore Hill the three rides went off as usual (after the Premiers) in alphabetical order. On the C ride Richard Ayers came a cropper on a nasty bit of road west of The Spinning Wheel and was escorted home by Anthony Bischoff. Other than that, we all arrived safely at Warlingham for lunch. Just before they got there, the Cs made a democratic decision not to go to Knights Garden Centre but to join the others at The Horseshoe instead. Good thing there were only 46 out. Great to see Ian Stapleton back in circulation, even if he was in civvies.
Saturday 13th March - The Faithful Five met at Speedgate and were led by Ron Castle on a delightful 22-mile up and down ride to Dunks Green. There, at The Kentish Rifleman, they were joined for lunch by Sidney Schuman, who had been to Hawley Garden Centre and wondered why no-one was there.
Sunday 14th March - A chance for J and J to show off their new bikes on an old favourite ride. This is the one from High Elms for elevenses to The George and Dragon at Wrotham for lunch. Bring a small bike and a large appetite - and a cape?
